Returns/Refunds

Deposits on vehicles and parts are non-refundable under any circumstance. All returns must be approved by us here at Day’s Parts Yard. Shipping cost will not be refunded as it was not charged during the initial purchase. All return costs, warranty or not, are to be covered by the buyer. Day’s Parts Yard is located in Arnold Missouri and all products will need to be returned to our facility. Some products may have up to a 25% restocking fee at our discretion.

All items shipped via ground can be returned for full refund. Once we receive product we will inspect to make sure nothing has been cut, altered, damaged or modified by the customer and then issue refund. This may take up to 48 hours once we have received the product.

We do not offer any refunds on any engines, transmissions or drive line components.

All of our exhaust systems are used. We will split the exhaust at every stock slip joint or flange. If the joint is welded it will cut next to the weld in order to make the pipe smaller to ship. 

We do not accept returns on items that have been shipped via freight.

We do not offer any returns on items that have been shipped or forwarded out of the country.

We will replace defective parts if we have one in stock.

 

Warranty

We offer a standard 30-day warranty on all of the items we sell unless otherwise stated. No warranty on AS IS sold items

All parts must be installed by a certified ASE mechanic. Failure to provide proof will terminate warranty immediately.

We are selling used parts. We do not cover any paint on our body panels and recommend that you get them refinished before installation.

We do not cover any labor or reprogramming cost involved while installing parts even if proven defective on Day’s Parts Yard.

We do not cover wearable items such as: seats, brake pads, wiper arms, gaskets, seals, accessories on engines, clutches, ball joints or tie rods.

Items that store oil and other fluids (Engines, Transmissions, Differentials, Etc.) are shipped dry. It is your responsibility to make sure they are refilled with proper products and to certain levels. We will not warranty any items due to damage of lack of oil or other fluids. 

 

Ground Shipping

We use all major shipping companies (USPS, UPS, FedEx) with parts be shipped via ground. Some parts will require a signature upon delivery. Please inspect product as soon as you receive. If you sign for a damaged package without inspecting it, it is now yours without being able to return.

Items being shipped via ground will be shipped next business unless otherwise stated

We do not ship to any PO boxes. We need a physical shipping address.

All ground items are shipped for free to the lower 48. If you live in Alaska, Hawaii or other countries there will be an extra cost.

 

 

Freight Shipping

We use a variety of carriers with our Freight shipments. All freight shipments are quoted dock to dock or a commercial address with fork lift. Freight shipments that require a lift gate or residential drop off require additional costs. Please inspect all freight before signing Bill of Lading. If not inspected and signed for with damaged products it is now yours with no refund.

Fright items will ship within 5 business days. This allows us to build and securely fasten your product to prevent damage 

We will ship freight items out of the US.

Once you have purchased a freight item you will receive an email with further instructions along with an invoice of shipping costs.
