Day’s Parts Yard LLC Policies

Deposits

 All Deposits on vehicles and parts are non-refundable under any circumstance.

 

Returns and Refunds

1. Approval Required:

         All returns must be approved by Day’s Parts Yard before being processed.

2. Return Shipping Costs:

Shipping costs are not refunded, as they were not charged during the initial           purchase.

The buyer is responsible for all return shipping costs, regardless of warranty status.

3. Restocking Fee:

A restocking fee of up to 25% may apply to returned products, at our discretion, regardless of whether the product has left our facility.

4. Inspection Process:

Items returned via ground shipping must be received within 14 days.

Upon receipt, we will inspect the product to ensure it has not been cut, altered, damaged, or modified by the customer.

Refunds are issued within 48 hours of completing the inspection.

5. Non-Refundable Items:

No returns or refunds are allowed for engines, transmissions, or other drivetrain components.

No returns are accepted for items shipped via freight.

Items shipped or forwarded outside the U.S. are non-refundable.

6. Defective Parts:

Defective parts will be replaced if a replacement is available in stock.

 

Warranty

1. Standard Warranty:

All parts include a 30-day warranty unless stated otherwise.

Items sold “AS IS” do not carry any warranty.

2. Certified Installation Requirement:

All parts must be installed by a certified ASE mechanic. Failure to provide proof will terminate warranty immediately.

3. Warranty Exclusions:

Labor, reprogramming, or refinishing costs are not covered under warranty.

Wearable items such as seats, brake pads, wiper arms, gaskets, seals, engine accessories, clutches, ball joints, or tie rods are not covered.

Items damaged due to insufficient or improper fluid levels are not covered.

4. Body Panels and Paint:

As we sell used parts, body panels are not covered for paint condition. Refinishing before installation is recommended.

 

Shipping Policies

 

Ground Shipping

1. Carriers:

We use major carriers (USPS, UPS, FedEx) for ground shipments.

2. Inspection:

Inspect the package upon delivery.

Signing for a damaged package without noting it will void your ability to request a return or refund.

3. PO Boxes:

We do not ship to P.O. boxes. A physical shipping address is required.

4. Shipping Areas and Costs:

Ground shipping is free to the lower 48 states.

Additional charges apply for shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, or other countries.

5. Processing Time:

Ground items ship the next business day unless stated otherwise.

 

Freight Shipping

1. Freight Carriers:

Freight shipments are quoted dock-to-dock or to a commercial address with a forklift.

Deliveries requiring a lift gate or residential drop-off incur additional charges.

2. Inspection:

Inspect freight items upon delivery and note any damage on the Bill of Lading. Failure to do so will void the ability to request a return or refund.

3. Processing Time:

Freight items ship within five business days to allow for secure packaging.

4. Fluid Levels:

Freight items, including engines, transmissions, and differentials, are shipped dry. It is the customer’s responsibility to refill fluids to proper levels before use. Damage due to insufficient fluids is not covered under warranty.
